The Peer Mentor (PM) program is part of the sociology department.

We are a high impact practice 

geared toward creating an environment where mentoring occurs within the learning community.

We see Peer Mentors and faculty advisors working together to give our students a unique perspective of living, learning, and being engaged in the Cal Poly Pomona community through shared educational experiences. The PMs hold office hours, organize and facilitates workshops, and conduct research geared to supporting student success.
